In Person Color Analysis in Miami, FL

I had my analysis done with Mariana and my entire session felt very awkward. Mariana didn’t really let me know what she was doing at any point and didn’t tell me why certain colors looked good or not. I was just getting a lot of “hm” *switch drapes* “hm” *switch drapes* with no explanation. She couldn’t even give me good makeup recommendations because I was darker than most light summers. I remember feeling very weird after my appointment. My palette (pictured) is a mix of soft colors, cool colors, warm colors, and even some bright colors. As a “light summer,” a lot of those colors should not and do not look good on me. The entire process felt lazy. I cannot emphasize how awkward it was too. I’m disappointed because I feel like I need to get a color analysis done again somewhere else and this was expensive. I saved a long time for this, as a college student, and was so so excited. If you feel like you’re particularly tricky to analyze, which I did, don’t trust this place. They will not have all the answers.

Mariana was absolutely lovely—kind, an amazing listener, and very professional. She took her time to carefully compare and contrast different colors and hues, thoughtfully discussing each step and decision with me. Mariana made sure to consider my feelings, ideas, and questions while selecting the best colors and seasons that not only suited me but also accentuated my features. She provided in-depth guidance on metals, patterns, and color combinations for outfits and accessories. She also went through the best hair colors if I ever wanted to try highlights or dyeing my hair.

Mariana went through my makeup collection, analyzing the undertones and values of each product, and provided a PDF with additional recommendations for future consideration. She even took the time to go over nail polish colors. By the end of the session, she showed me the full palette that suits me best, along with the top five standout colors. I also appreciated being given both physical and digital materials to take home, allowing me to easily reference everything we discussed in the future!

I highly recommend a color analysis session with her. I left with a much better understanding of how to wear colors that are the most harmonious for me.

This was such a fun experience! Mariana was so knowledgeable and made the analysis insightful and engaging. She also provided me with a color palette swatch that I could take home with me and sent me a pdf with a ton of information about my specific color season. I’d recommend anyone going to Mariana to do their color analysis!

We did the in-home option and loved it! Was such a fun, nerdy activity to do with my mom. She had been commenting that she only wears black nowadays and I thought it would be a fun activity to get us both out of color ruts. We didn't really know what to expect or how to prepare our space, but we made it work! The only suggestion I have is for maybe an explanation about color analysis/color theory at the start of the appointment. I had watched tons of videos, but my mom hadn't so I wish there was more of an intro. Would definitely recommend this experience!
